This app has no accounts and collects nothing about you as a person. The only thing it ever sends is an anonymous tally of how a day’s eight questions went. This page says exactly what that is.

What leaves your device

One submission a day, and only when you finish the Daily Voyage while the Fleet service is reachable. It carries the date, eight anonymous kept-or-missed bits in the order the questions were authored, and one random identifier made for that single submission so a retry is not counted twice. Nothing else goes with it — no name, no account, no advertising identifier, no device identifier, no answer text, no location.

If you tap share, the link you hand out carries a route id, the date, those eight bits, and a checksum. A dare link carries two country codes. That is the whole of it.

Your network necessarily shows the server an address while a request is in flight. The app’s code uses it only to derive a short-lived rate-limit key that expires in 10 seconds. The address itself is not written down, not returned to you, and not attached to anything the service keeps.

What the service keeps, and for how long

Two things: day-by-question totals plus a total for the day, and one marker recording that your random submission identifier has already been seen. Both expire on their own after 5,184,000 seconds — about 60 days. Your eight bits are added into the totals and are not stored after that.

There is no account table and nothing that ties one submission to another, so there is no profile of you to look up, correct, or delete. Expiry happens by itself.

What the app does not do

No account, no login, no profile. No ads, no ad attribution, no cross-app tracking, and nothing sold or shared for advertising. No analytics or crash-reporting library ships in the app. No purchases and no payment details.

What stays on your phone

Your answers and progress, restored countries, atlas state, scores, streaks, Daily Voyage progress, settings, and notification choices stay in the app’s own storage on your phone. Notifications are optional and are scheduled locally once you allow them. Expeditions are fully playable offline, and a submission made offline waits on the device until a connection returns.

If this changes

If a later version adds accounts, analytics, persistent identifiers, stored raw submissions, or longer retention, this page is rewritten before that version ships.
